From Caps to Keys: Embracing Life’s Big Next Steps

Personal Reflections Christine Bradley May 28, 2025

Graduation season always brings a mix of emotions—pride, excitement, nostalgia, and sometimes a few tears. As I watch the young people in our community cross the stage and step into their next chapter, I can’t help but reflect on the significance of this moment—for them and their families.

For high school graduates, it’s often the first big leap. Leaving the comfort of home and heading off to college is both thrilling and a little daunting. I’ve walked alongside many families during this transition, and I know just how bittersweet it can be—packing up childhood bedrooms, driving to campus, and hugging goodbye at the dorm room door. It’s a moment full of possibility and growth.

College graduation, too, marks a powerful transition. It’s the launch into adulthood—starting careers, finding first apartments, or even purchasing that very first home. It’s inspiring to see these young adults step into the world with ambition and hope, ready to shape their own path.

As someone who has been rooted in this community and in the real estate world for years, I consider it a privilege to support families during these life transitions. Whether you're downsizing after your last child heads to college or helping a graduate navigate their first home search, I'm here to be a resource, a guide, and a steady hand through it all.

To all the graduates—whether you’re donning a cap and gown or celebrating your child’s achievements—congratulations. Here's to bold steps, fresh starts, and exciting new chapters. I’m cheering you on every step of the way.
