Giving Thanks and Giving Back

As the holiday season approaches, it’s a time to reflect on what we’re grateful for and how we can give back. For many, this season of gratitude inspires action, and one of the most impactful ways to give is by supporting those who face food insecurity.

In the United States, food insecurity affects millions of households each year. In 2023, 14% of people - 1 in 6 — experienced food insecurity. This represents a growing need for resources like food banks, which critically address hunger. Organizations like the Atlanta Community Food Bank provide vital support to individuals and families in need while reducing food waste and fostering stronger, more resilient communities.

For the past 16 years, the Christine Bradley Team has embraced this mission through our Annual Food Drive. What began as a neighborhood initiative in Vinings has become a meaningful tradition, allowing us to give back to metro Atlanta. We collect non-perishable food items from our wonderful neighbors and friends each year. These donations are delivered to the food bank, making a real difference for families struggling to put food on the table. Giving back has always been a priority of mine, not just in business but in life. This food drive is more than an act of charity—it’s a reflection of the incredible generosity of our community. It’s also a reminder of how small actions, when combined, can create a ripple effect of hope and kindness.

As we celebrate 16 years of this tradition, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has contributed over the years. Your support has not only helped meet a critical need but has also inspired a culture of giving that continues to grow.

This holiday season, let’s all take a moment to reflect on our blessings and consider how we can share them with others. Whether it’s through donating, volunteering, or simply showing kindness, every action matters.
